What is better than having good food with good company? It is have then above mentioned both in a posh restaurant at a dizzy height of 47 stories at the heart of Singapore.
I went for a buffet lunch at the Equinox last weekend and that place totally satisfied my tummy and my eyes. At first I was apprehensive … wondering if I was paying more for the food or for the view…. But well that place did not disappoint and I am glad I brought along my camera .. too bad the battery died half way … Come to think of it .. I also cannot remember when was the last time I charged my camera battery.
The main course for the lunch itself is a choice between Western and Asian cuisine while the starters and dessert are self served buffet style. For main course, I had soft shell crab with some rice. The crab is deep fried and mixed with some light sour source and mango salad. The source is delightfully refreshing and takes away the oiliness of the crab.
Now comes the buffet. Hee hee. There is a wide variety of food starting soup (carrot or supreme chicken), sushi, Crab, Oysters, on the spot stir fried foie gras and not to mention a wide variety of cheese. There are also bread and cookies to go with the cheese. I must say .. I just tried a bit of each. The food were exquisite and delicious in their individual way.
For those with the sweet tooth, there are pastries like cheese cakes, sorbet, ice cream and even a mini chocolate fondue.
Did not manage to take pics of the food … anyway it would be disrespectful to the chefs so I just took some pics of the view outside the windows instead. Enjoy the aerial view from the top.. The sky that day is a bit foggy though.

What is a wonderful companion, stress reliever and a furry pillow/ boaster all rolled into one? the answer is none other than my lovable dog. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 2 years old, local breed.
For the past 2 years, he is a faithful companion and he has never fail to bring a smile to my face (or my wife’s or my parent’s) after a rough day at work. To you he may be just part of your life but to him…. you are his whole life and he devotes his life to making you happy, pleasing you and making you feel wanted… where else can you get everything in one cheap package I wonder…
